Health care

OK, where can I begin. Our health care system is totally lopsided. It is no longer there to assist Americans with medical cost. By design it has been developed to charge hi premiums to Americans and look for every Loophole possible to deny you of treatment and coverage. I may be going off tract hear but writing has never been my strong point. Here’s where I’m going. I entered the hospital 4 months ago now and was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease. I know, this is something we all know. The thing is after about a month of dialysis I was healthy enough for a transplant. My insurance company spent the next three months negotiating with the transplant center just to start the preliminary work up. Now I must state that I had health care that covered transplants. They were still able to slow things down because my costly surgery would affect their bottom line. So in other word I had ZERO kidney function was diagnose with a serious condition and it was up to the Insurance company weather I get a surgery that could give me a better quality of life let alone a longer life.
It reminds me of the movie Gladiator when the king sat on his throne and either gave a thumbs up or a thumbs down to see if someone lives or dies.
This is the so called civilized society I vowed to support and defend for 4 years of my young adult life. Mind you where I was a good boy and awarded a four year good conduct medal. (see picture above)
And as for my Veterans help. I was told I didn’t qualify for prescription coverage through the VA because first I made to much money last year and second I didn’t serve during WWII, Korea, Vietnam, or the Gulf War. I guess I rolled the dice and lucked out of a war. I deployed 4 times in four years. Worked on numerous humanitarian mission (not killing but helping people) and because of this my service is less honorable in the eyes of the VA.
And as for this enormous income I made that disqualified me. I made $86,000.00 last year. I also have a wife and 3 children I support. If you do the math I contributed about $25,000.00 in federal taxes also. To explain deeper I had a $300.00 dollar a week salary. Yes my company guaranteed me $15,000.00 The rest I made working my tail off about 70 t0 80 hours a week. During this same year I finished my degree (which comes with government student loans) and was smart enough to save enough money to last about 4 months. Yep four months. I’m broke now. My NEW health care....Medicare part A,B,D, and a Medicare cap policy (because the above stated insurance dropped me as of May31 because I tried to go back to work but ended up back in the hospital) will cost me around $700.00 a month not counting deductibles and co-pays.
This is what my great grandparents came here for? I don't think so. We are so trained or what I want to say is brainwashed that this country is the best. No doubt it was at one time, but not today. And if anyone wants to argue that call me (937)728-4285, that’s my cell phone.
It's amazing the pork in Washington that has sucked up all of the money from the health care companies in and we keep electing these people. And no sitting president will ever be able to change it. There’s too many yachts and beach houses at stake. Obama wants to do something different but his idea is just a way to dance around the already corrupt health care system. Here's what I say needs to be done.
The 250,000,000 + Americans that do have health coverage need to decide one day to stop paying these companies all together. We need to all drop them! And I write here and now without any functioning kidney's and on dialysis daily. If the rest of the Americans out there with coverage would drop their companies. I would do it today with no reservations. The current system must come to an end. Maybe these smart hard working health care executives can go save GM and Chrysler from failing. We don't need them working in their current feild any longer. We need to fire our healthcare companies.
Health care is fraud waste and abuse of hard working Americans income. It's not working and as much as I support my president I don't see his plan working.
I was going to make a video on this but I was afraid I couldn't do it without dropping some harsh words.

To many people gave their lives for our country for us to sit back and let these companies and bureaucrats take our freedom and rights away.
